How to calculate the required number of shots?

Depending on which level of vest or helmet is used by the enemy the damage of M24 refile the required number of shots to take down (kill / knockdown) will be different. Moreover, damage also varies on different shot targets (i.e. Head or Body).

Therefore, different number of shots are required to kill or knock down the enemy. First, let’s discuss the headshots.

Headshot

Headshot is a very powerful shot and one headshot (if the enemy is without any helmet) will be enough to take down with almost any types of gun.

Although, if the enemy is with a higher level of a helmet then 2 or 3 shots are required to take down them. So, you should always go for a headshot as you can.

In the context of M24, this gun deals maximum damage up to 10 meters, and beyond its damage will be dropped slightly up to 100 meters. From that distance, the damage will be continuously decreased and reaches its minimum value at 580 meters.

Bodyshot

Bodyshot is less powerful as compared to headshot. There are 3 levels of the vest are available in PUBG. Depending on which level of vests are worn by the enemy the required number of shots will be different.

It also depends on distance as the damage value of the M24 refile will be reduced as the distance increases.
