AKM is an assault rifle with 7.62 mm ammo used in PUBG. It
is a modernized version of the AK-47. So, AKM is more advance than the AK-47.
In PUBG it is very important to know about different weapons

Damage Calculator
Depending on which level of vest or helmet is used by the
enemy the damage of AKM will be different. Moreover, damage also varies on
different shot targets (i.e. Head or Body). Therefore, different number of
shots are required to kill or knock down the enemy.
We can use the following calculator to calculate the exact shots required to kill or knock down the enemy. However, it should be noted that AKM will deal maximum damage within 50 meters, beyond that distance damage will continuously fall up to 290 meters. So, this calculator works only for 50 meters range.

Conclusion
AKM is a very popular gun in PUBG. It is important to use
some attachments with this gun as it will improve our gameplay. Almost all
types of sight can be attached with AKM except 8x scope.
Although, only up to 3x scope is useful for this gun as the
damage will be reduced for long distances and it is difficult to control its
recoil.
